Sunday 26 October – our current locum, Revd David Jacks, is also an accomplished musician and we were delighted to benefit from a piano recital after the service this Sunday. He played a variety of well-known classics, including “The Golliwogs Cakewalk” by Debussy which seemed to be played almost entirely on the black keys! Althought we long to hear from the Diocesan Office about progress with appointing a permanent Chaplain, in the meantime we are benefiting from the ministry and friendship of a variety of very competent locums.
