It was wonderful to see a full church in support of our choir concert and they were not disappointed. Many said this was the best yet. The choir sang a mixture of anthems, special arrangements of hymns and worship songs, and finished off with three show-stopping gospel songs. They were ably assisted by the Irish baritone soloist Padraig O’Rourke, conductor Martin Payne, violonist Lauren Angius and her father Andrew Kettle on keyboards who also sang a spectacular solo. This was the epitome of many months of preparation and we thank all those involved.
